In the song "The New Year" Mr. Ben the Genius Gibbard says,
"I wish the world was flat like the old days,
then I could travel just by folding the map.
No more airplanes, or speedtrains, or freeways
There'd be no distance that can hold us back."
This might be one of the greatest lyrics I know. And it more or less epitomizes my greatest wish: to not be held back by distance.
